The Level 6 Improvement Specialist badge is awarded to implementation support practitioners who demonstrate advanced expertise in the development and facilitation of improvement cycles. At this level, practitioners deepen their strategic impact by applying the Improvement Cycle framework to support teams in planning and conducting small change cycles of improvement. Participants engage with the ISP Core Competencies of Conducting Improvement Cycles and Applying and Integrating Implementation Science Frameworks, Strategies, and Approaches. Level 6 participants demonstrate the ability to support teams in identifying facilitators and barriers to implementation, and the associated strategies. They apply their learning to support small change cycles of improvement to test strategies and address barriers. Earning the Level 6 badge signifies a high level of mastery in implementation science and positions practitioners as skilled facilitators of change who can lead, adapt, and sustain implementation efforts across diverse systems. Level 6 is the last level of achievement before the program capstone.
