The Branching Out Superbadge is awarded to individuals who are expanding their expertise in Implementation Science practices and the Implementation Support Practitioner Core Competencies. Successful Micro-credentialing Program participants will deepen their understanding of advanced implementation strategies and tools, including the Implementation Drivers framework, implementation mapping, and capacity assessments. In addition to these practices, candidates for this badge will learn to lead and conduct improvement cycles using the Active Implementation Frameworks (AIFs), beginning with foundational lessons and progressing through applied activities. Participants will also hone critical competencies such as Conducting Improvement Cycles, and Applying and Integrating Implementation Frameworks, Strategies, and Approaches. These skills support practitioners in strengthening implementation infrastructure, adapting support to context, and fostering sustainable change. Mastery is demonstrated by successful completion of the Level 5 Implementation Specialist and Level 6 Improvement Specialist badges.
